Bruce Murphy, CPIM
Director of Demand Planning & Purchasing, North America, GN Netcom
Mr.
Murphy is a business system architect and operations manager, with expertise and
a track record of success, in improving enterprise performance, through:
• Business process design,
• Systems integration and
• Re-engineering of the worldwide post manufacturing material
management and fulfillment processes, including:
o Sales and Operations Planning,
o Forecasting and Demand Management,
o Inventory Planning,
o Distribution Requirements Planning,
o Distribution Operations, and
o Procurement.
Mr. Murphy has been involved in production inventory and control for more than
twenty years as an individual contributor, consultant, and manager, focused
primarily in the discrete electronics manufacturing industry. He has been the
Director of Demand Planning and Purchasing at GN Netcom for the past three
years, and held multiple supply chain planning and system positions at Bose
Corporation, for more than a decade previously. He holds a BA from the
University of Massachusetts, and Master's degree and post-graduate certificate
from Northeastern University. Mr. Murphy earned his CPIM designation in 1986.
