Jim Lawton

Jim Lawton, Vice President of Marketing, Open Ratings

Jim LawtonJim Lawton works closely with Open Rating's customer base to ensure that solutions continue to meet organizations' most pressing needs to effectively manage thousands of trading partners. Earlier in his career, he held vice president of marketing positions at Optiant, Inc. and ECnet, Inc.

Lawton draws from more than ten years experience in operations and supply chain management at Hewlett-Packard, where he led an initiative that rapidly achieved profitability and annually saved tens of millions of dollars by reducing inventory and reorganizing supply chain operations.

An inaugural fellow of MIT's prestigious Leaders for Manufacturing program, Lawton earned an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management and a master's degree in electrical engineering from the School of Engineering. He also holds a bachelor's degree from Tufts University.
